There are some great diving spots on Andalucia’s Atlantic coastline. The waters here are bursting life - extremely rich in flora and fauna. They’re clear too; visibility ranges from 15 to 30 metres. There are regular dive trips from Conil. The exact location varies from day to day. It depends on the sea. Some popular spots are: La Garita, Las Laminarias and the point of Morroco. Also, Paloma Island in Tarifa; here you can scuba dive in either the Atlantic Ocean or Mediterranean Sea.
Beginners must do a course, but they can be in the water within just two days. The first course is the Open Water Diver. Other available courses include: Advanced Open Water, M.F.A., Rescue Diver, and Dive Master. Specialties courses are: Deep diver, Wreck Diver, Underwater Photographer, and Boat Diver.
Full equipment is available for hire…tanks, wetsuits, boots, masks, snorkels, tank, SPG, BCD…etc.
Diving is possible all year round. The centre in Conil opens every day from 10:00-14:00h and in the evening from 16:00-20:00h.
