Conil is a great place for sports because of its location between the woodlands and the coast.

Popular activities include sailing, fishing, horseriding, cycling and trekking. El Palmar beach is a great surf spot, especially during the autumn and spring months.

You can learn to scuba dive too. There are numerous diving schools here; many of them hold courses in nearby Tarifa - the southernmost town in Europe. Tarifa is also one of the biggest wind and kitesurfing locations in Europe. Conil's tourist department supports and promotes all healthy tourist activities.
